Sporeprint – The Definitive Collection
Sporeprint – The Definitive Collection is a 13-track album of remasters of our greatest songs from the Sporeprint era. Long before I was Psyoptic, I made music under several aliases as well as in multiple duos and bands, but the Sporeprint duo was one of the most important parts of my journey. The way that the two of us worked together to create this library of genre bending bangers was one of the greatest collaborations of my life, it brought out such a diverse sound: the most beautiful of melodies to the nastiest of drops, the most experimental ambience all the way to the most danceable future pop.
Seven years prior to the release of “The Definitive Collection”, the Sporeprint project had been retired. My partner, Christian had move away and yes, we had made some tracks after he moved by sending them back and forth online, but it wasn’t the same as when we were able to work together in person and we didn’t want Sporeprint to lose it’s direction so we decided it was best to end the project and focus on our individual music projects.
Fast forward to 2025 and I had found myself longing to hear these tunes at a quality level closer to that of my new music, so I gathered all of the files and got to work remastering each song. I wanted them to shine as bright as they could and truly do the songs justice, so I reworked each remaster again, and then again another time until I was truly satisfied with every single one and felt that the songs sounded the way that they really always should have. These remasters have truly brought these songs to LIFE and I am so happy to share this collection with my fans.
I highly suggest taking an hour of your time to listen through each and every song and let the music take you along on our journey as we discover the inner-workings of the human mind.
